An eminent feminist ironically stated that if women demand equality, they should be treated equal in every whit of life.Women should be subjected to same conditions as men are subjected to. Be it govt tax or a compartment in a local train. What is the need for an exemption or a separate compartment?
Being a woman I agree that if we ourselves expose our weakness, our desire to be safe in the eyes of the ruthless world we would never achieve d goals of feminism. But being a human a small scared voice prods me to show my hidden vulnerability. And so echoes the voice of womanhood. it echoes in the hollow of ignorance.
Women have split personalities. When their one part loves to nurture the other one yearns to lean. So even if she finds contentment in an unromantic lover, she still loves dose small courtesies he offers occasionally.
We dont need reservations. We dont need any privilege at work place. All we need is the acceptance of our split persona.
Need is very dire in the Indian society. Only educated women can stand up to the competencies of Men or even uneducated men for that matter.
ReplyDeleteThe rights are for the improvement the conditions of the rural women, which are subjected to atrocities.
Sadly, rural women are not able to execute them for numerous reasons and most of the educated women flout the privileges.
But its good to see a female appreciating the concern against the bias :)

@Mohul Thanks for appreciating the work! Would agree to most of your opines. But standing up to the competencies of an individual, requires an individual with equal amount of brain. And God has entitled every single person an unbiased gift of brain. Competency comes when we tame it. So if rural women, or rural men for that matter tame their brain in a way to stand up to urban professional men and women, they would definitely perform well and maybe even undermine their urban counterparts. It's just about how the privileges are being bestowed and who is at the receiving end. But yeah bias is something which is not needed!
